One of the most unique aspects of resort living within Sanctuary Cove and Hope Island Resorts, is being able to travel by golf buggy.

If you think golf buggies are just for the course, think again! Imagine waking up, and jumping in your buggy to head down to your local café for coffee!  Or taking the kids to meet the school bus by buggy.

Everything you need, including shopping, restaurants, cafes, entertainment venues, medical care, and more is just a short buggy ride away. Dedicated golf buggy infrastructure, including a recently completed buggy path now allows travel between Sanctuary Cove and Hope Island Resorts without having to start the car. The master planning of our resorts, and, of course, the proximity of our world class golf courses, makes this mode of transportation the perfect option linking homes, services, shops and recreation.

You’ll be in awe of the some the ‘pimped up’ buggies that cruise the streets of the resorts. Many have added luxuries and modification, including mag wheels, sports steering wheels, stereo systems and LED lighting. For those that prefer to not feel the breeze in their hair, you can even buy fully enclosed buggies that come complete with air conditioning!

Sanctuary Cove and Hope Island residents love their golf buggies so much that they hold an annual Christmas buggy parade, where owners decorate their buggies in the Christmas theme and parade before a huge crowd that gathers for a night of festivities including fireworks and quality entertainers.

Please note: you must hold a valid drivers license to drive a golf buggy within the resorts.
